Indigo Fruit Tea Blend - non-caffeinated
This is a beautiful, healthful, naturally sweet blend of flowers, fruits, rosehips, and even dried carrots. Butterfly Pea Flowers have been used in ayurvedic medicine for many years. It is high in anti-oxidants, is an anti-inflammatory, has anti-aging and anti-diabetic properties among other benefits. It is the most dreamy shade of deep blue, and with a little squeeze of lemon it turns to a light indigo violet hue. We think it tastes like raspberry cotton candy and is delicious both hot and iced.
Ingredients: apple pieces, rosehips, orange peel, butterfly pea flowers, mango pieces, pineapple pieces, natural and artificial flavors.
Hot Tea- Place 1 heaping teaspoon of tea in strainer. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over tea and steep for 3 - 7 minutes. Longer steeping yields more flavor.
Cold Tea- Use twice as much tea and steep twice as long. Strain and pour over ice.
Also a great way to make healthy popsicles. No sugar needed!
