Jasmine Tea is one of the most pleasant tasting green teas available on the market. On the nose the dry tea has a floral bouquet enlivening the senses. The flavor is enhanced with the addition of jasmine flowers giving a visual appeal. Production of jasmine tea begins with high quality green tea between March and May. The fine jasmine blossoms are gathered between the beginning and end of May.

Serve Hot or Iced For hot tea: Place 1 rounded teaspoon of loose tea in strainer. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled (then cooled to 194 degrees) water over tea. Steep for 2 - 3 minutes. Sweeten to taste. For iced tea: Use twice as much tea and steep twice as long. Pour over ice and stir briskly. Add additional ice. Sweeten to taste.
Jasmine Green Tea Latte
1 cup boiling water
2 rounded teaspoons Bluffton Tea’s DeCaf Jasmine Green Tea
1 cup non dairy milk (non-sweetened almond or coconut milk)
1/8 t vanilla powder
optional, sweeten to taste with agave or maple syrup to taste.
Steep your tea in 1 cup of boiling water. Heat your milk either on the stove top or in the microwave. Pour into your blender, add sweetener as desired, and blend on high for 1 minute, or until frothy. Combine tea and milk into your favorite mug, thermos or mason jar. Top with a sprinkle of either the matcha or vanilla powder.
